Daniel Garcia, RA, CBC
Principal and CEO
Danny has been in the architecture and design industry since 1998, and holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Florida. He has worked in offices in Florida and New York City, and is a registered architect (RA) in Florida with an NCARB certification. He is also a State Certified Building Contractor (CBC) in Florida.
He brings wide-ranging design experience to Dura, including high-end residential, civic, healthcare, educational, research/laboratory and commercial buildings. During his time in New York with Grimshaw Architects, where he worked on Fulton Center in downtown NYC. His unique ability to listen and understand the big picture while also obsessing over details makes him a unique asset to his clients. He has rare experience designing and building.
His passion is to provide clients with intelligent design that enables them to achieve their aspirations.
Danny is the recipient of AIA Jacksonville’s 2012 Emerging Design Professional Award. He has also served on the Town of Orange Park Planning and Zoning Board, Citizens of Orange Park for Economic Development, and Traffic Calming Ad Hoc Committees. He is a current board member for Concert on the Green, a 501c3 devoted to improving access to musical education and experience for students and adults in Clay county.
Father of four, Danny loves spending time with his wonderful family in beautiful sunny Town of Orange Park.
